There are so many link checker tools around, and although this might seem great on the surface, it leaves a lot of room for inaccuracies. David Farkas, founder of The Upper Ranks, decided that enough was enough. He recently created an extremely helpful case study which highlights the most accurate backlink checker of 2019. This included investigating into the likes of, Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz and Semrush. All pretty big contenders!

Google Ads to remove average position search metric

Matt Southern recently updated Search Engine Journal with the news that Google Ads are going to remove the average position metric on September 30th. This might take some getting used to if you’re familiar with this metric, but in its place will be two new metrics! You can get the latest on this here.
